Barton said the dance music was played by local Disc Jockey,Michael Willoughby of Standing Room Only, 1456 E. Cherokee St.,Springfield.

Per couple, the dance cost $15 dollars and $5 for eachadditional daughter who came to the dance.
Barton said the reason for the admission fee is to pay for allthe food, decorations, music provided for the dance.
There was some community support for the dance as well, Bartonsaidance dance danced. The Logan-Rogersville High School Future Farmers of Americahelped by putting corsages together for the girls, which were soldfor $6.

A lot of the girls like getting dressed up and spending timewith their thers, she said. The girls get all dressed up, someget their hair done and they look like little princesses. They getto dance, eat and have some one on one time with dad.
Cathy Barton, the president of the PTA said in past years thedance was put together by her Girl Scout troop, but the troopwasnt going to continue putting on the event.
The dance is a chance for girls to get dressed up and spend timewith their thers while having a good time, Barton said.
It costs us about $1300 to put on, she said. By the time webuy the food and supplies, it costs quite a bit.
